1. The information on this site

• Everything here is published for general information about our products and service. It is not engineering, structural or legal advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional on your own project.
• Grade guides, depth tables, access dimensions and similar figures are typical starting points. Where an architect, engineer or building control officer has specified something for your job, that specification takes precedence.
• We take care to keep the site accurate and current but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or free of error, and we may change any of it without notice.

2. The concrete calculator

• The calculator produces an estimate from the measurements you enter. It cannot account for uneven excavation, over-dig, settlement of the sub-base or losses during placing.
• An estimate is not a quotation and does not commit either of us to a price or a volume. Prices and volumes are confirmed when you order.
• Check your own measurements before ordering. We are not liable for material ordered on the strength of a calculator estimate alone.

3. Enquiries and quote requests

• Submitting the quote form does not create a contract or reserve a delivery slot. We will contact you to confirm the mix, volume, price and timing.
• Please give accurate contact details so we can reach you. Do not submit anyone else's personal information without their knowledge.
• For urgent work, call us rather than relying on the form.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the site lawfully and do not misuse it by introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or placing unreasonable load on it.
• Do not scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, and do not submit the forms for advertising, spam or any fraudulent purpose.
• We may withdraw access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, and we will report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities.

5. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, graphics, layout and the Surex name and logo on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own use in connection with buying from us. Any other copying, republication or commercial use requires our written permission.

6. Links to other sites

Where we link to third-party websites, we do so for convenience. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it or for any loss arising from your use of them. You may link to our home page provided you do so fairly and without suggesting an association or endorsement that does not exist.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. Access may be suspended or restricted for maintenance, repair or for reasons outside our control, and we will not be liable if the site is unavailable at any time.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions and warranties relating to the site to the fullest extent the law allows, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything you rely on in it. Where you buy from us, our Terms of Sale govern that contract.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. Our Cookies Notice explains the cookies this site sets and how to change your choices. Analytics only runs where you have given consent.

10. Changes and governing law

We may amend these terms at any time by updating this page, so please check it from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
