Volumetric concrete for Esher, Claygate, Hinchley Wood and Weston Green, about 16 minutes from our Effingham yard. Mixed on site from 1m³, with pump hire for rear gardens.
Yes, Surex Concrete delivers to Esher and the rest of KT10, including Claygate, Hinchley Wood and Weston Green, with concrete mixed on your site and a line pump where the truck can't get close.
Getting to Esher
Esher's High Street is the old Portsmouth Road, the A307, and it runs through the town for about a mile. The A3 bypass runs along the southern edge, past Esher Commons. From our yard it's about 16 minutes without traffic.
Sandown Park sits beside the station and the High Street, and race days fill the town. The controlled parking zone that came in in 2013 was partly a response to race day drivers blocking residents' roads. If you're pouring on or near a race day, tell us and we'll pick a time when the truck can actually park.
Towards Hinchley Wood the A307 narrows to a 9.7 metre single carriageway with on street bays near the Scilly Isles roundabouts. Give us the full address and we'll plan the approach.
Pouring in Esher
Esher Commons, about 360 hectares of protected heath and woodland on the town's southern edge, sits on the damp clay of the Claygate Beds and free draining Bagshot sand and gravel. Down at Lower Green, where the Ember meets the Mole, the ground is wetter river alluvium. Ground on the Commons side and ground at Lower Green behave very differently, so tell your groundworker which end you're at.
Esher is mostly detached. The 2011 census counted 1,341 detached houses in the Esher ward against 542 flats, well above the regional share. That means a lot of extensions, garden buildings and long drives. Esher Park, the private estate off New Road, has been home to Esher Cricket Club since 1863.
There's trade work too. The Sandown Industrial Estate on Mill Lane, off the A243, is Esher's trade estate, and unit floors and yard slabs are the kind of pour we supply to businesses like those.
Access and permissions
Most Esher jobs need nothing more than a phone call. These are the exceptions.
The Esher Conservation Area, designated in 1973, covers the medieval core around the Grade I Church of St George. Claygate has two more, Claygate Village and the Foley Estate.
Esher has had a controlled parking zone round the High Street since 2013. Bay suspensions and dropped kerbs go through Surrey County Council, so book a bay before the pour.
The Environment Agency's River Mole at Esher and East Molesey flood warning area covers the low ground by the river. Agree slab levels with your designer before a pour there.
Guide figures only. Building control, your engineer or your groundworker sets the final grade and depth. Send us their spec and we'll batch it on site. Concrete grades explained.
Measure the pour, enter it below, then call us with the figure. A rough estimate is enough - we batch to what the job takes.
Measure the area you're filling - a slab, footing, trench or base. Mixed units are fine.

Fill in all three dimensions to see the volume. We include a 5% wastage allowance.
Minimum delivery of 1m³ not met. We'll still quote 1m³ for the pour. Call 0800 669 6500 if you're unsure.
Tell us the volume and postcode and we'll confirm the right mix, the price and a delivery slot.
Surex Concrete delivers volumetric concrete across Esher and KT10, including Claygate and Hinchley Wood, from its yard in Effingham about 16 minutes away. The truck mixes on site, so you can order from 1m³ and pay only for what you use.
Yes, but tell us the date when you book. Race days fill the High Street and the roads round the station, so we'll pick a slot when the truck can park near your site.
Parts of it. The Environment Agency has a flood warning area for the River Mole at Esher and East Molesey, and Lower Green sits where the Ember meets the Mole. Agree slab levels with your designer if you're near either river.
A new front driveway over 5m² needs permission unless it drains to a lawn or border. Inside the Esher or Claygate conservation areas, check with Elmbridge Borough Council first.
Most domestic footings use C20/25 or C25/30. On the Claygate Beds clay, or near big trees, they often go deeper than planned, so we batch on the day to what the trench takes.
We deliver from 1m³. Orders under 3m³ carry a part load charge, and at 3m³ or more there isn't one.
Give us the postcode, a rough volume and how the truck gets in. We'll confirm the grade, the price and a delivery slot on the call.
